My name is Yuri Alvarez. I am the founder of  Yuye Photography; I was born and raised in Guatemala. In 2010, I came to the USA without luggage because all my hopes, desires, and goals didn't fit in a 50-pound suitcase. I have been passionate about photography for my entire life; for the last ten years, I have pursued this passion while also being a present mother and a full-time student.

I am a pioneer and resilient fighter woman who constantly seeks new challenges and goals to push myself to greater heights to keep growing and evolving as a professional and individual. I find fulfillment in contributing positively to society. I genuinely believe that when you love what you do, it doesn't feel like work. My photography journey has taken me to many places, including the Bay Area, Greece, Mexico, Chicago, Miami, New York, Hawaii, and more. I am grateful for each experience and the trust that clients have placed in my work.

Destination weddings are my specialty.  I am based in the SFO Bay Area, and I truly enjoy offering a princess treatment to my beautiful Quinceañeras.  I love to turn your ideas into reality. My favorite photo session is at my studio; the entire process of converting my space in your scenario brings me joy and inspiration. I turn every detail of your big day and the excess of love into unforgivable stories.
